报告人简介：
孙国清，马里兰大学地理系研究教授，于1990年获得美国加州大学博士学位。主要从事合成孔径雷达（SAR）和激光雷达（Lidar）模型及其在森林生态系统中的应用研究，发展了多种森林雷达后向散射模型，激光雷达回波波形模型，以及估算森林生物量和地表参数的算法。发表论文130余篇, 其中SCI收录60余篇。为IEEE高级会员、加拿大遥感杂志副主编, 其他多个权威刊物和NASA, DOE项目评审专家。作为首席科学家，主持和参加了许多项NASA、ESA、和NASDA项目。目前是3项NASA项目的首席科学家 (PI)，6项NASA项目的主要参与者（Co-I）， 是美国国家项目CMS （碳监测系统）的科学顾问组（Science Definition Team）成员。

Dr. Keqi Zhangis the Interim Director of the International Hurricane Research Center and an Associate Professor of the Department of Earth and Environment at Florida International University, USA. His research focuseson airborne LiDAR mapping, beach erosion, storm surge modeling, coastal variations in response to climate change and human activity, and 3D visualization animation. Dr. Zhang developed the Airborne LiDAR Data Processing and Analysis Tools for the National Center for Airborne Laser Mapping (http://lidar.ihrc.fiu.edu/lidartool.html). He has authored over 70 peer-reviewed journal articles and other publications. Dr. Zhang’s research has been supported by federal agencies such as NSF, NOAA, NASA, DOE, and FEMA.

Dr. Jie Shanis a Professor of Civil Engineering at Purdue University, Indiana. He obtained Ph.D. in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing at Wuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping, China in 1989. His research interests include (1) Automated aerospace image mapping; (2) Spatial data modeling and analysis; (3) Remote sensing image processing and fusion; and (4) 3-D Geographic information systems and visualization.

Dr. Junmei Tangis Assistant Professor at the Department of Geography & Environmental Systems, University of Maryland at Baltimore County. She obtained Ph.D. at Texas State University-San Marcos in 2007. Her research interests include Geographic Information Systems, remote sensing, urban landscape ecology, resource management, and environmental modeling.
